The family units at Sabie Star are beautifully decorated and have a light and airy feel, making them a cozy and comfortable place to stay.
Personally, I found the shower over the bath in the en-suite bathroom a bit inconvenient.

The location of this hotel was absolutely breathtaking, nestled by a serene river. It was the perfect setting for a peaceful and comfortable stay. The units were beautiful and the manager was incredibly friendly and informative. We also loved that the braai/barbeque areas were right by the river, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
While our overall experience was great, there were a couple of minor downsides. as a quadriplegic, I had to bring my own portable ramps as there weren't any provided to access the rooms.

We had an amazing welcome, personalized and warm. The location was magical, with a beautiful walk close to the river. The attention to detail, like the blanket on the bed, was greatly appreciated. The breakfast was out of this world. The dogs were friendly and funny. it was an awesome place with great views, and being next to the river was fantastic.
Felt like a true getaway, no reason to complain.
